Overview

Computer Networks specialization is considered one of the fastest growing disciplines in Information Technology. The importance of this field of study has become very important as a result of the latest advancements in the Internet and its applications, wired and wireless communications, mobile computing, and the area of data and information security.

Faculty of Information Technology, of Petra University, has set up a celebration in honor of Dr. Shaker Al Farraji, who is being upgraded from assistant professor to "Associate Professor".


The Dean of the Faculty held the opening speech, by welcoming the attendees and congratulating Dr. Al Farraji, saying that the university "is proud that its members always seek to reach the upper ranks of science, in order to raise the level of education in the university."

Extra' team of programming games camp from AL Yarmouk, Petra and Sumaya Universities ended its competition with the first level in the Windows Application Programming iPhone from Microsoft, and in the third level in Umniah Company competition.

Sumaya Bint AL Hasan, emphasized on the importance of creating a real partnership between the academic private and governmental sectors to resolve the challenges faced by the academic sector.

Her Royal highness added that El Hassan Science City is seeking to embrace creative ideas and help turn it into productive projects.
